Fabricated in Germany by Friedrich Krupp Essen in 1942. Same cannon as installed in Tirpitz and Bismarck. Cal 38cm-model SKC/34. 337 ton. Crew of 52(62). Max range 55000m. 500-800kg shell. Firing rate 1 shell/min. Fully working. Last shot was in 1952. At Trondenes fort Harstad Norway, there is installed 4 cannons(Adolf cannons), cal 40.6cm. Range 56km. 1080kg shell. The largest land based cannons in the world. Still working. 1 is called «Barbara». Last shot was in 1957.
